Our Story
Family-Owned Boarding Facility
Sara Runnalls and Jennifer Keeler have been lifelong horse people. Their parents, Bruce and Sandra Brown, purchased Rouge Hill Stables, a trail riding facility located on the Pickering/ Scarborough border, in 1977. Sara and Jenn spent many hours in a Western saddle assisting the trail guides, learning horsemanship skills, the importance of safety, leadership, and most importantly, cementing a deep love of horses.
Later, the family moved on to own and operate Audley Road Stables in Ajax, where Sara and Jenn learned the joys of Pony Club, Eventing and the Hunter / Jumper world, which eventually became their specialty. Both Jenn and Sara were actively engaged in the business, coaching students, training horses, managing the barn, and competing on many levels themselves. Working with horses and sharing this amazing sport with others has been a life-long passion for Jenn and Sara.
